The Playoffs are here...

The Jazz just put together an old fashioned whoopin on the Houston Rockets in game 1 of the playoffs. This doesn't really come as much of a surprise, but I was still giddy as can be as I watched the Jazz play beautiful ball. D Will is my hero!!! He is the Jazz. I'm not discrediting Boozer, Memo, AK or any of the other guys, but DW is the one who controls the game and leads the team to victory. Props do D Will... I'll be wearing your college jersey to the first home playoff game, so if you happen to read my blog be looking for me in the bright orange, Fighting Illini, jersey.
I also gotta throw in a few words about Kyle Korver. A good friend of mine happens to be dating him at the time and from this I've ended up meeting him a few times and actually had dinner with him just the other night. First and foremost, he is such a good, humble, nice guy, and on top of that he is the missing link the Jazz have been needing. We all know that since we got him we have the best record in the league and whenever he scores over 10 points we've only lost twice. Good stuff if you ask me. Giricek for Korver was one of the all time greatest steals in the history of the NBA, and I'm just happy the Jazz are the ones who got the steal.

That's enough of me going off about the Jazz, because I could do it all night no problem. All I can say to finish this post up is that I agree with the great espn.com columnist, John Hollinger, in that the Jazz are the favorites to come out of the West... Yeeeaaahhhhhh!!! Where I have to disagree with him is that the Jazz will beat Boston in a 6 game grinder to bring the first title back to Utah. Ahhhh such beautiful words to my ears. Go Jazz
