Garbage Island...

This is the first of several episodes on trash, especially plastics, in the ocean. It comes from vbs.tv, which is one of the most insightful and educating websites that I've come across. Granted it's not edited for the people of Utah, you must look past the occasional cuss word or obscenity and focus in on the topic on hand. This particular series is the most recent series I've been following on vbs.tv and I find it to be quite compelling and makes me want to do better myself to escape our addiction to plastic and when impossible to do that, at least recycle so it doesn't end up in this "Garbage Island" in the middle of our oceans. I really don't think anyone looks at my blog but if someone happens upon this please watch this series and let me know what you think about it. I know if you watch it you will be shocked and that it will cause you to feel that we must all do better to detach from plastic addiction.
